About the Event

Headlining May’s show is circuit veteran, Adam Bloom (as seen on Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Channel 4’s Comedy Lab). Adam performed his first sell-out solo show at the 1996 Edinburgh Festival and he has been selling out shows and winning awards ever since, earning him status as a legend of the comedy circuit. The opening act for the evening will be Yuriko Kotani, a Japanese comedian who has been performing stand-up in the UK since 2014 and was named ‘One to Watch’ by Time Out. Yuriko’s act plays beautifully on British and Japanese stereotypes and customs, using her experiences assimilating into British culture to highlight the weirdness that we often don’t notice. Completing the supporting line-up for the evening are circuit regulars: Dinesh Nathan, Lyle Barke, Quinn Beasley and host, Gareth Neale.
