Learn More About The Artist's
Jody and the Jerms’ latest album, Wonder, was part inspired by a brave friend who got the all clear from cancer after a tough 18 months. A celebration of all chemo warriors everywhere at the end of the ‘Chemo’ journey is the theme for the show. Expect upbeat bitter-sweet pop songs, with comparisons ranging from Kirsty MacColl and Blondie, to The Primitives. 'It’s like power jangle pop, a bit Bangles. Lovely' Mark Radcliffe, BBC 6 Music.
Oxford’s The Shapes are a 9-piece spectacle not to be missed with a brass section and songs of love, loss and social commentary. ‘Till They Put Me In The Ground – The best song the Pogues never wrote’ (Nightshift Magazine)
HööF are a wonderful up and coming band recently featured on BBC Introducing.
Sizzling sonic sensations brought to you by this female fronted four piece from Oxfordshire. A haven of indie pop-rock & grungey goodness. Commended for their explosive & tight live performances.
Nick Helm Nick Helm first took to the stand-up comedy stage in 2007 and quickly became a circuit legend with his tour de force of one-liners, stories, poems and jokes. He’s also fronted his own food travelogue show Eat Your Heart Out with Nick Helm on Dave and his own high-octane variety show Nick Helm’s Heavy Entertainment on BBC Three. This is all in addition to his other unforgettable TV appearances such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Russell Howard’s Good News and Celebrity Mastermind. Paul F Taylor The award winning Paul F Taylor is one of the UK's most exciting and distinctive stand-up performers. His unique brand of humour fuses quirky offbeat one liners with surreal observational flights of fancy to fantastical effect. Nominated as NATY New Act Of The Year for 2013 and GQ Magazine's comedian of the week, Paul's persona of a lost bewildered fool sits perfectly alongside his gleefully madcap ideas.
